Question time #1: The place were we discuss complex ideas.

First question

Can I regard Clexa and respect Bellarke at the same time?

Karma Police 03-24-2017 01:33 PM

How does this thread work exactly? Do I just answer yes or no or give an explanation too?

Absolutely. In the words of Bellamy Blake, you "do it every day." ;)

Do I ask a question now?

Damocles 03-24-2017 05:20 PM

Thanks Becks, is just like those simple question and answer threads?

destroyer of worlds 03-25-2017 12:40 AM

TFTNT, Becks!

Yup, do we elaborate more or just answer "Yes" or "No"?

Damocles 03-26-2017 05:55 PM

I await an explanation!

destroyer of worlds 03-26-2017 10:34 PM

Me too. :whip:

Damocles 03-27-2017 07:41 PM

BECKS get back in here :whip:

I'll ask a question in the meantime.

Did the 3x13 flashbacks alter your opinion on Pike at all? Why or why not?

destroyer of worlds 03-28-2017 01:01 AM

Thanks, April! Good question ... I'd say a straight no. I felt that the scene was TRYING to make us see another side to Pike and possibly emphatise with him but I was not here for that ... a case of too-little-too-late.

What are your thoughts on Jasper this season?

girl under the floor 03-28-2017 01:08 AM

I'd say just answer with whatever you like?
If you want to explain, do so, if you don't, you don't?
(Of course it's nice to know the intent of the game too :) )

CanIcallYouKate 03-28-2017 01:10 AM

They did, a bit. They helped make him more of a 3 dimensional person as opposed to the cardboard cutout villain of almost cartoonish proportions he was before imo.
However, I think it was too little too late in terms of the story telling. No amount of teacherPike backflashes were gonna redeem that character in my eyes

So how does this game work? I'm all out of questions, I'm afraid :look:

ETA oops, Sarah and Paula got in there
Mine's an answer to April's question ;)

This will teach me to open too many tabs :P

I like him
I'm not his biggest fan, I don't think I'll ever be. Season 2 I didn't like him much. Season 3 I was annoyed by him initially, but rewatch helped me like him more. And now I really like that he adds a humorous touch to the show  Comic relief
I don't love him, but I like him

What do you think you'd personally do with Luna ('s nightblood) ?

April7739 03-28-2017 03:43 PM

Be confused by it, because I don't understand science. I guess if it's the only thing that can beat the radiation, you have to try to use it to save humanity, but you have to try to do it in a way that doesn't kill Luna herself in the process.

If you could write one "missing" episode for season three, what would the plot of it be and why?
