I wish it would, but I fear we're over-analyzing.

I have no idea what to think about this. What reason could it be? ALIE's not blocking his physical pain for some reason? We know he took the chip because he can see ALIE and we've seen him in the COL a bunch. We know ALIE is blocking at least some things for him because he lost his memories of Wells.

Honestly, I didn't think anything was weird about him shouting when I watched the episode. Maybe I need to rewatch that scene. But there's part of me that thinks this is just one of those weird deliberate tv/movie mistakes. Like you know how in Star Wars, there are all kinds of explosions and lasers and whooshing sound effects in space even though in reality you can't hear anything in space because it's a vacuum? The sounds are there in the movie because it helps us along with the experience. It's more fun and feels more natural to the viewer if there's sounds, even though it's scientifically inaccurate. So maybe Jaha shouting is one of those things. Maybe the scene would have come off wrong if he just got shot and fell down completely soundlessly. There were a lot of things happening very quickly in that scene. Maybe we needed to hear him react so that we could follow along with what was happening. Or maybe there really is some sinister reveal about Jaha in the next episode. I don't know!

And it's one of the reasons why I think Murphy will always be a Top 3 character for me.

So I finally got to do my re-watch, and I really want to post my extended thoughts like usual, but . . . damn, I don't know if it's the extended sleep deprivation or what, but my thoughts and feelings are still ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Yeah I mean, it could have been simply for dramatic effect. Abby was making audible noises while being strangled...however that's not pain related, just lack-of-air related, but still.

Could just be NOTHING

So I re-watched the episode because my bf had to watch it.
1)didn't even react to Monty getting stabbed
2)got SUPER excited when Murphy showed up in the tunnel, then rewound that part and watched it four more times.
3)said what should be the show's official catchphrase: "well that just went from bad to worse" (no sh i t)

Maybe it wasn't a shout of pain. Maybe it was a shout of frustration because Bellamy just ruined his favorite sweater.

I'd like for Jaha's shout to mean something but knowing my luck it would be frustration over Bellamy ruining his favourite sweater.

I think it was just the episode because I was the same way, I had no review, just random thoughts. lol. It was too good! Too much stuff happening everywhere!

I hate Jaha so I don't pay attention to anything he does.

Yeah, I think I'm just having trouble collecting all my thoughts into one review. I'll try again tomorrow. Because, let's be honest, I'll probably re-watch it again tomorrow. It was just. that. good.
