So your new place of employment is not moving you then, Kenni? Can you hire some moving guys to move your stuff into a U-Haul and drive it up? They have this little trailers that I think you can hitch to cars.

I think I'm going to get a POD or some such. Where they deliver a POD (or U-box or Relocube or probably a dozen other random names depending on the company) to your house, you load it up, then they drive it to the new place for you. As I've been pricing it out it seemed that renting a truck and hauling my car would be cheaper. But for one I don't trust myself driving a truck even without hauling my car - largest thing I've ever driven is a Suburban. So me hauling a car is pretty much out of the question. Especially since the drive from Phoenix to Salt Lake involves a lot of mountain passes.

I'd be too terrified. So initially I figured it would be worth it to spend an extra few hundred to insure me and my stuff makes it to Salt Lake and not splattered across the mountains of northern Arizona.

Then as I thought more about it I realized these POD type companies include fuel in the cost. So really after adding the cost of me gassing up the truck it wouldn't be much more expensive anyway.

Fingers crossed for you that it all goes well and the checks work out. You picked up some basic Korean during your time there, I assume? I always thought it'd be interesting to work abroad like that

... alas, no chances so far.

And I mean, threats about you getting fired would rile anyone up I think but that's good that you cleared the air with the manager in the end.

And down a size is great, I'm not chubby but I would love to lose a few pounds but my meagre gym time unfortunately is not enough to offset my unhealthy eating habits for some reason.

I made myself comfortable on my couch. I haven't left it since I got home a few hours ago.

I have a lot of shows to catch up with and I want to finally start Underground.

I will be out and about tomorrow and Sunday though.
