The internet started a rumor that we have a gas shortage because of the hurricane. If people did their research, they'd know it wasn't true because many refineries weren't affected, and others wouldn't take long to get back up and running. Buuuuut people believe what they read and have gone craaaaazy! Everyone is rushing to gas stations, and they're just topping off and then filling lots of gas cans too. It's making the gas stations run out of gas because people are going nuts like that. Gah! There are 2 hour waits just to get gas. I have plenty in my car, but my husband's light turned on last night. Hopefully this settles down by Monday. Good thing it's a holiday weekend, and he won't have to go anywhere.

People chillllllll. You're causing a gas shortage with your insanity, and it makes it very inconvenient for people who actually need gas.

My hormones must be surging today. I'm annoyed with everything today.

Oh no Steph. Yeah, that's what happens during these incidents unfortunately ... irresponsible people spreading false news and creating panic everywhere. I hope that this settles down eventually when people calm down and realise that it isn't as bad as it seems.
