I feel badly for Ariana Grande too - like, obviously she wasn't hurt but she probably feels responsible in some way (which she shouldn't) and so horribly guilty. What a terrible thing to happen.

She must feel devastated. Concerts are supposed to be a safe place apparently this happened in the area where fans can buy merchandise and where there parents would have waited to pick them up. Absolute nightmare.

Lisa met some random dude to talk about buying a bike and said that if she doesn't check in by a certain time, she might be kidnapped/killed. You know, morbid stuff.

The Manchester attacks are absolutely horrible. I hope those who are still listed as missing are found soon. It's terrible how this KEEPS happening and there doesn't seem to be a way to stop them, no matter how many security procedures are put in place and how many precautions are taken. I saw Ariana's tweet too.

I just read an article about the victims, the youngest girl was 8.

The incident happened in an area outside of the arena. Seems like there is a foyer when you get outside of the arena area with merchandise stands, restaurants, etc. and you can access a railway station through that area too. But still weird that such an area wouldn't be properly secured before a huge concert.

I would be beyond gutted if I were in her position. I truly hope she has a strong support system in place to help her through this. I hope this for everyone who is affected by this.

Yeah, I thought so too ... especially since Europe as a whole has been on high alert for the last few months.

And Philippines and Bangkok too? That's close to where I am, Bangkok has been hit a few times in the last few years ... presumably since a lot of Westerners do go there. But Philippines is a new target if that's the case, I don't recall there being major incidences so far.

Janet, I think that she probably does to some extent ... though she shouldn't. Just heard on the radio that she has left the UK and looked so tired/stressed out, understandably.

I can't believe what happened after the Ariana concert. Devastating. So many killed and even more injured. Where is it really safe anymore?
