Yes, we are fine. I did not wake my kids up to move them further inside the house. I'm kind of a weather nut, so I monitored the weather I could see, as well live feeds for news and updates to know whether I needed to get them to safety. There was a tornado, but not too close to us. It started about 10 miles from us and traveled to about 8 miles from us, but it was always moving in a direction that wasn't coming towards us. The tornado went right on top of my sister. She is fine too; even has power this morning. Lost it last night though. The fire dept set off their fire alarms in her complex to alert them. Crazy; it hit the middle of the city. I expect it outside of the city where it's flatter, but the middle of the city is a little more rare. I'm exhausted today from staying up, but we are juuuuust fine. We had a lot of strong winds, like up to 60-70 mph gusts, constant lightning, and stuff blew over on our back porch. But that can happen with just your average Texas storm. Our biggest problem is the flooding that can happen as more rain comes.

Paula, stomach bugs are awfullll! I'm sorry! Hope it passes soon, and that by some miracle, the rest of you don't get it!

It's super sunny out again today and I was thinking of going for a walk...but I also kind of just want to stay inside the whole day

I am just so freaking done with it
I mean, it's bound to happen that you have it more in a family of five.
But for the last few months, we have had one person in this household sick every freaking week. We didn't even get through one week without at least one out of the five being sick.
And now Youngest has the stomach flu again and it's bound to respark for the rest of us again.

And I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what I could change
We eat healthy, we go outside, we take extra vitamins. And still we all Keep Getting Sick.
I'm so freaking over it.

I'm sorry I totally read past your message Steph Good to know you keep calm in situations like that I always keep calm if Husband isn't with me. If he's with me, I tend to panic

Paula It's the time of the year, and it does get really exhausting. We have been sick for a while around here too. Just when you get over one thing, it's on to the next. But stomach bugs are definitely my least favorite. So sorry that's what y'all have to deal with!
