I loved how loyal she stayed to Clarke. First by helping her trade stuff while being fully aware she was Wanheda and then later in the bunker. Seems like the grounders can be ruthless but if they are loyal to you they're loyal af.

This scene definately shows how much she cares about Clarke if she is willing to settle for what little Clarke is able to give to her;

Nathalie, Niylah is definitely liked in the fandom from what I've seen.

I like how she makes her opinions known, but supports Clarke anyway and doesn't demand for her to define their relationship etc. She probably knows that is difficult for Clarke to do.

She seems a bit ... different when Clarke sees her after the time jump, but I'm guessing that the bunker changes people in some respects, and Niylah had to adapt in order to survive.

Niylah is one of the softest characters on the show, I just hope now that they’re on a new planet she will no longer be Octavia’s minion like so many of the others. I’d still like to see a Niylah/Octavia friendship though, or maybe something more

Basically we need a new wlw ship so Niylah needs a girlfriend.

Do you think Niylah wants a girlfriend, Becks? I always had the impression that she's not interested in a real relationship with someone.
She said to Clarke in 4x06 "I'm not asking for anything more than this moment. That's how I live."
But maybe she'll find a girl for some "moments"

That's so nice to hear that the fandom embraces Niylah.

I find her really wellspoken and she thinks thoroughly before voicing her opinion.

But yeah, she is different. Being in that bunker changed her. As much as I ship them, I fear she has changed too much for them to be together again. Same for Clarke though. She's changed quite a bit as well.

I like the way you think but as much as I love f/f relationships and Octavia, I don't see her swinging that way. It would be hot though.

But yes I concur, Niylah needs a girlfriend.

Is that woman her grandmom who is no longer with us? It's a really cute picture .

That would be really nice. Especially since she's so close to Octavia now. I was wondering if she would be her second, but Niylah doesn't strike me as a warrior so maybe someone who supports Octavia by being her emotional support?

I concur. Honestly, after Octavia saved her from the mob in 4X13, I thought that she would be close to Octavia, not really a mentor like Indra but moreso emotional support and a friend (or maybe more ) to Octavia. Doesn't seem to be the case when we see her after the time jump though. And I definitely know fans who ship them, they even have a Tumblr!

But seriously I think Niylah is just so humble that everyone loves her besides some Skaikru peeps but that's just because they want to surive and don't know her. So I love that she was with the in crowd of Wonkru which I'm sure gave her protection.

I usually ship all the women but I loved Octavia and Lincoln so much I am not there yet I guess. Maybe I need visuals to change my mind.

So I'm gonna go watch some scenes of Clarke and Niylah, you know for science, and then I will start the Niylarke thread.

I agree that Niylah is humble and just a genuinely good person (when she could very well be vindictive, given what Skaikru did to her) that people just want to protect her/eventually warm up to her.
