I always got more out of Young!Hope’s portrayal than Adult!Hope. Not that I cared for either one, tbh.
 Ate up way too much screentime in what should have been an epic final season focused on the actual mains. But young Hope is cute, and the little actress did a nice job. |

I thought that Shelby did a decent job considering this is her first serious acting job, from what I've heard, but yeah, at the same time ... given that it was the last season, I felt like it was better spent on the original characters instead on focusing on new characters like Hope.

I liked the Hope character alot - not entirely sure what her point was in the end, but I enjoyed her scenes with Diyoza and Octavia alot. She probably got more screentime than she was supposed to (like Echo, Levitt, etc). because of BTS issues.

Yup, I definitely think that too ... that originally, Hope and Levitt didn’t have as much screentime as they ended up having.
