I doubt that he could override Jason though, and I’m sure that it’s Jason’s doing. But things would be better for sure if Aaron was still around.

I hear nothing but fantastic things about Aaron’s new show, though, so good for him.
Goodness, Eyecon is already annoying me. It’s one of these cons where they start selling the tickets before having all the guests. And they’re like, “We announce guests all the way up to the week before the convention.” Um, that’s great for people who live in the area, but not so great for those of us who would need to travel. |

Ugh, that is annoying. I mean, they do have to think of people who have to travel to the venue. People usually have to finalise their travel arrangements and buy the tickets at the same time, and not just buy the tickets first. Also, i feel like it’s more likely that the guests might cancel a month or two before the event because it’s not set in stone anyway.

I could see non-100 specific cons not giving as much consideration to those who travel, but since this one is just going to be for this show and these fans . . . Idk, it’s not how I prefer for it to be done, that’s for sure.

That's why I don't trust EyeCon. Buying flights or booking hotels surges prices on top of added fees, too. And can they ensure that their VIP/weekend passes will still be available if people want to book last minute?
That's the first I've heard of the Brussels con. Only three guests so far?  IDK, I'd trust bigger cons like Supanova over these small new ones popping up.__________________

Yeah, I would be careful with booking the smaller cons. Things can get cancelled so easily even if they have the best of intentions. Hoping everything will go well though!

I'd definitely feel better with the bigger, more established conventions like UD, Supanova, Spacewalkers and now ConaGeddon.
 These smaller ones generally make me nervous too, especially since it costs SO much for me to go to one of these events.__________________

Does anyone remember when literally the majority of the fandom thought Conageddon might be a scam and I just went ahead and said, “**** it!” and bought two VIP passes anyway?
Oh, that was a risk!Someone on Twitter just cautioned me about Eyecon.  I will definitely only go if they get Bob, and even then, I would road trip it so that I wouldn’t have to worry about a flight. It’d be a bit of a long road trip, though, but it’d be the start of summer for me.Johnny Whitworth just replied to me on Twitter. |
