I guess that it makes sense since she's had to fend for herself until Clarke found her so that made her grow up a lot faster than she was supposed to. Jordan had quite a sheltered life in comparison.

She actually spent her whole life in hiding (They mentioned that her parents didn't want the scouts to find her.) Those years with just her and Clarke were probably her only time as a normal kid.

Yup, and even then Clarke was clearly quite cautious about letting her run about and plus, she didn't have any kids her age to interact with. Now, she does (but for how long?).
