I disagree, Kate.

They gave us at least two scenes with Madi showing her morality and yet now she didn't even hesitate to slash that guy's throat. Previously, shedeferred to Clarke's judgment, even if she had reservations about it. Now she is self-assured in a way we have not seen before. Well, that's only my opinion of course

I think we were meant to see that as the flame at work in Madi. Which is why I want it out of her eventually. I don’t want that kind of brutality for her.

Agreed, Kate. There's a distinct difference in mindset and given that the show established earlier on in the season as to where Madi stood in terms of decisions that Clarke made (even if it's for her own safety), IMO it's the Flame which is making her act differently and in a more ruthless manner. Which is unnerving.

I think her slashing the guy was influenced by the Flame. She was looking at the dead grounders in the grave, her/Flame's people, and it triggered the Commander in her to avenge them.
