That he is strong and that he cares about Octavia 3. Did you have a different impression by the time the character died? I have the impression, that Lincoln was too good for the evil world ... I'm still so sad about it, that he had to die  |

2. What was your first impression of this character? Good looking and mysterious. I didn't actually like him right away in 1x06 because I didn't understand what he was doing. It took me until a rewatch to recognize all the ways that he was trying to protect Octavia. 3. Did you have a different impression by the time the character died? I grew to like him more and more over time. To be honest, I don't think Lincoln was the most complex character on the show, but he didn't need to be. He needed to be that symbol of grounder good, and he was. I have yet to find any other grounder character that I like as much as I like him. |

I was intrigued by him but also cautious about his initial behaviour when it came to Octavia. 3. For sure. I came to love Lincoln very quickly after that initial apprehension and he remains my favourite Grounder to this day. He represented the best of his people, someone who was always willing to find the middle ground and such a peaceful person up until his death. __________________

You know, Lincoln was not only a great representation of grounders on the show, but he was a great gender representation, too. How often do you see a male portrayed as a sensitive, peaceful healer?

Well, the very first moment he showed up standing over Octavia, I totally knew I was gonna like him  I obviously had no idea how fast and deep it'd go, but I immediately thought: "this is gonna be a romance." And I was totally down right away. And he didn't prove me wrong in the upcoming episodes. 3. Did you have a different impression by the time the character died?
