I know, that was hard to watch. But I don't think she actually wanted to kill him, but she was just really frustrated and felt like she didn't have another choice. Either way, that was very stressful to watch!

Apart from the almost killing of her dad figure (which I can understand to some extent since she didn’t have a choice when he refused to fight), why didn’t she pardon him once they got to the ground? :look: I know that she/the others will struggle to forget the Wonkru culture even though they’re out from the bunker now but since she didn’t want to kill him in the first place, a pardon would have made sense?

Yes, I think it would have made sense to pardon prisoners once they got to the ground, or at least end the fighting. I'm not sure Octavia had really thought about what to do with him at that point with everything else that was going on. Maybe they were just sneaking Kane away to be sure he'd be safe, since they weren't sure what Octavia would do once they were out?

Could be, I think that they were apprehensive about what Octavia would do and wanted to sneak him off just in case.
