Murphy was everything in this episode !!

I honestly don't think that Murphy "working on Abby" was his first motive when he stole the medicine. Especially when we know his backstory (his father being floated for stealing medicine for him). I had forgotten and the scene was so touching and sad !

I'm glad as well that they adressed the fact that Ontori forced him into sex.

Honestly, I loved all the little throwbacks that the writers packed into this episode.
Just goes to show that they don't forget and don't sweep stuff under the rug

I re-watched last night and maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I don't think "conning Abby" was his only motive either. Why hang around in medbay? Why all the close ups of his face showing his anguish? Nah, it might even annoy Murphy himself, if he thought about it, but this was a case of "doing the right thing" in his opinion. Maybe while walking back to Emori he thought it would be a "foot in the door" to return to Arcadia with Emori
Pure fantasy probably I always try to see the good in Murphy

I'm really glad they addressed the rape too. It's way too serious of an issue to be left unspoken.

Should have known that Murphy had ulterior motives with the medicine thing but I do believe a small part of him genuinely wanted to help as well.

I love that Murphy still has this dark side to him. because people had gripes that he had changed too much so I love that hes still in character. He still has a ton of faults and his character is very darting on the line.

He and Emori were talking about him being in Polis and Ontari and she queried him on her, and he said that he didn't have a choice (referring to the fact that he slept with Ontari).
