He has tears in his eyes, but I guess the question is: were they real tears for Clarke or part of him trying to sell the deal to Bellamy?

I feel like it was maybe half and half, knowing Murphy. Or maybe they really were real tears, but for Bellamy/his grief. I could see Murphy feeling worse for Bellamy than he actually feels about Clarke. But whatever compassion he feels for either of them is taking a backseat right now to his desire to survive at all costs.

Heck even Richard Harmon dislike making Murphy being a 100 % good guy, in a interview whihc many have heard about he said that he disliked Jason making him a full out good guy after season 2, and that this season is his best, I'm inclined to agree for the first time since season 2 I'm genuinly thrilled

Yup.

That's evident, I don't think that he's completely callous about it but is probably pushing his feelings aside to ensure his own survival.
