ADR lines are ones added after the fact, right? ie. when they are entering the Captains Room (whatever it's called) and Raven makes a comment about the hole in the door, her voice sounded like it was recorded later.

Yep, Alexa, I agree. Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, Raven, Murphy in terms of importance to the storyline. Importance in my heart is a different story.

I agree. He's definitely higher up on my list than Octavia.

I think Octavia is super important to the show though because of her grounder/wonkru storyline. She's a leader for her people. At the same time, I do think the show could kill her off without it being really bad for the show. i think killing one of the other four would be much worse. I dont think it could survive witout Murphy. I might be biased but he is the comic relief of the sho and a "good" villain of sorts so we need him. Raven saves their butts so much so we need her too, though killing her without a horrible backlash might be possible, depending on how it happened and when. BC are the male/female leaders on the show that just cannot die. At least not until the very last episode. if they do, i think the show is going to be done.

It's in relation to the pilot Alexa

Murphy and John Mbege wrote "FIRST SON. FIRST TO DYE" on the dropship outside wall to provoke Wells
and Wells said to them "You spelled die wrong, geniuses."

So Jason is joking that Murphy has spelled "dye" wrong and Richard says it was Mbege, not Murphy

I really hope Murphy wasn’t the one to write that, because it just seems OOC to me that a smart guy like him would spell such a simple word wrong. Then again, they didn’t know much about his character back then, didn’t know everything he would evolve into.

Besides ... I know a lot of people who are really talented in technical things or in maths ... but they have a spelling weakness ... that means not that they are not smart

Well said, Sonja. Some people are academically smart, but some excel better in other areas. And Murphy is definitely street smart.

True, true, there are different types of intelligence. But man, the English teacher in me just cringes to think of him spelling die wrong! Oh, well, it was Mbege. We’ll go with that.

Like Kate has said, John Mbege died in 1x06
He was the first of the 100 who had to die through a grounder attac
They searched for Octavia in the woods
A grounder roped off a tree, grabbed Mbege, and let himself and Mbege be pulled up in the trees again
Then Roma asked "Hey, where's John?" and they wanted to start to search for him
but then Mbege fell dead out of the trees to the ground with a throat cut
