I don't agree with everything he said to Clarke but I was happy to see him sort of having come to terms with his own state of mind at least. He was depressed and I really wish he could have gotten the help he deserved instead of killing himself.

Same, he was dropping some major truth bombs there and though I didn't agree with everything Jasper said/did, Clarke needed to hear it from someone who had a different perspective on things.

True, unfortunately with Praimfaya, time wasn't on his side and they didn't seem to have people who could counsel him and help him through his PTSD and depression.

Yes, there was no time to deal with it unfortunately.
This is what gets me still when we discuss free will and being allowed the choice to die.
I'm all for that as long as the characters are of sound mind to make that decision.
And I do not think Jasper or any of the others suffering from ptsd/ depression were in a place to make that decision. Heartbreaking really

I don't think Jasper would have wanted to live even if the world wasn't ending. he had suicidal thoughts before they knew they only had a few months left.

The world ending no longer made him kill himself right away. But if the world hadn't ended, I think he would've killed himself

There was no time for to help Jasper, but assaulting him with a tazer sure doesen't help

His depression had nothing to do with primefaya, it had everything to do with inferior feeling, why diden't they give him a commander role instead of constantly boss him around making him feel more inferiror

The difference between Raven,Octavia,Harper and Jasper is that all the others had friends by teir side, Jasper had noone,

I don't think he had depression due to feeling inferior

To me his depression was the result of landing on earth and immediately being speared in the chest, then being terrorized by and terrified of grounders. Then? He falls in love and she dies. After killing people with an axe and having his friends get drilled into for their bone marrow.

I mean, I don't know about you but that would be enough for me to go into a crappy, dark place. If I wasn't able to be a leader I think that maybe I'd get over that one.

Feeling insecure has nothing to do with leadership

Clarke has done mistakes that has cost over 100's of lifes

What if you're a secret Mandela but you're to insecure and won't be given the chance?
