I feel like Monty and Bellamy really tried all that they could.

Jasper’s story is so tragic, and ultimately . . . I don’t think anyone could have changed his mind. Intervention or not. Only he could do that. I am so glad he went out peacefully rather than shooting himself, though.

Yeah it seemed like it was just way too late/hopeless. I'm glad he at least died with his best friend there and not alone, that would have been way too sad.

I wanted to throw things when Murphy made that remark. Jasper wasn't a coward and he did die a good death. Had he been alone with the others, it would be a lot more tragic. He wasn't a coward, he just had the strength to overcome his desire to live. He couldn't be strong and carry on anymore, so he chose to end life on his own terms.

In all honesty, I probably would have been more like Jasper, just happy to be there. But it was good that Clarke was so suspicious, and good that he stepped up as a leader once she was gone.

I bet my limb on that they shoot several different endings for character like Roan and Jasper and Ilian and Luna, that way they can choose later on what the fans think

I think it's low because even if it's minority who likes him you loose that important minority, which you could have kept by killing off a character who's fandoms generally tend to like the other populuar characters aswell,that's just how it is, is it okay to say that if you don't name any names?

It's well known, that they had a alternative ending for Jasper in season 3 where he kills himself, I wanna bet that they would have killed him off as early as last season if the toxic ableists hated on him that season as much as this

I think that Clarke/Jasper hug is one of my favorite moments of theirs. But I still love the Bellasper hugs more.

Actually, his character didn't die back then because TPTB ultimately thought that the season was dark enough with two major character deaths so they decided to change the ending for Jasper.

Yes but, I'm saying is - with limited quantities of absolutely everything on the ark, were there bottles of prozac sitting around? Unlikely. Obviously we don't know, but I'm guessing not. And if Abby is a GP who did any kind of training in psychiatry, the show hasn't shown us anything beyond an average bout of encouraging words or a good pep-talk. Nobody took the time to sit down with Jasper and really see if they could help him - probably because nobody knew how.
