Abby wasn't a psychiatrist,so she wouldn't have known how to help. She could treat the physical symptoms,but not the mental and emotional.

I don't know about the countrey you live in, but the country I live in doctors study mental illness aswelll but just in a wider spectrum, psychiatrists just study mental illness


However most psychiatrists can't give out prescriptions, all doctors can

I don't know if they have depression medication sitting around, who knows what they had up on the ark. Plus if Jasper didn't talk to Abby about it, she wouldn't even know.

Agreed. Not all doctors are equipped to treat mental illness and they all tried, it's not like they left Jasper to his own devices but he was in too deep and didn't want to accept any help.

I prefer Bellamy with Raven,but he and Clarke would definitely be a power couple.

I kind of wish that they had an intervention. He didn't want to get help, but they'd make him.

I agree, maybe they could have tried harder to help though at some point, it's really up to him if he wants to accept help/support from the others. Can't recall for sure but it seemed like Monty/Bellamy tried to (at the start of season 3)? There wasn't anything explicit in season 4 though.
