ETA: Thread question: Is Jasper one of the most complex characters on the show? Because when we ranked Complex Characters, I didn't put him on my list. But I think I could make a case for him at number five.

I think he is. When I think of a complex character I think of depth and Jasper definitely had depth. Complex character also means having flaws, being vulnerable, having internal struggles, battling your demons, not being perfect. He was a complex character in that regard.

I almost want to redo that topic, because as much as I love Murphy, I'm afraid I ranked him too high.

I think Bellamy and Jasper are the most complex men on the show (Kane can be pretty complex, too), and Clarke and Octavia are the most complex girls.

Yeah, Murphy became and interesting and intriguing character but he's not as complex as other characters.
