He wanted to be with her then. He wanted to tell her how he felt during the apology… but he didn’t. If he had, he’d have most likely been with her the rest of the day and then she couldn’t have been attacked and taken.

He blames himself because, among other things, he held back. Once again, he thought he had more time and he didn’t. Again.

So the dramatic increase in touching? The very intimate scenes? The blatant callbacks to Echo and how he is not reacting to Echo being in danger the way he did with Clarke?

Yeah. None of this is accidental.

He is in love. He knows it. He doesn’t want to waste any more time, but he will never, ever cheat on Echo.

Bellarke is canon, everyone, whether we get it explicitly this season or not.

I agree with this part. It's parallelling which this show is good in, especially with Bellarke but contrasting it so hard that it's tough to look past it as just casual behaviour from Bellamy. If Bellamy cared even a fraction about his relationship, I feel like we would've seen that in his face at least.

For the rest of that post, I mean... It's a bit open to interpretation, isn't it? Bellarke always is. I don't necessarily think it's what they intended but I also don't think reading it in that way is wrong?

True, especially since Clarke has always been the more touchy feely of both of them. So, to see Bellamy doing it instead and last episode, FINALLY admitting that he needs her ... that is huge. We've only seen him be that vulnerable with Octavia, when he told her that he loved her. Not even Echo. That's telling.

I feel the same way too.

Yes, there was a lot of unnecessary touching in this episode that Bob made sure to capture on film, so thank you, Bob.

I’m not sure I agree with it, either, but I was also thinking about that last night, how he was blaming himself, and . . . there was no way he could have known. He didn’t find out what the primes were doing until after it was too late for her. But leave it to Bellamy to blame himself. So I was really glad when Clarke reminded him that he saved her.

Everyone definitely noticed it too, and I love it. They just seem ... different? And so soft.

I agree that there remains a lot unspoken and it will come to a head eventually, it has to.
