That would be the most ideal outcome

, given where the writers have written themselves into now.

Yep, I can see a whole bunch of flashbacks from season 1 to now

and then a lingering shot of HIC as Kane before it fades away.

Was the actor supposed to be moving on to next projects or something? Is the storyline they chose a way to sort of replace him without actually replacing him?

EDIT: Never mind, I scrolled down and saw that he was leaving for another show. Too bad. Honestly, he was a very good actor and I feel like nobody can do his character justice like Henry

It's very sad to lose Ian, but I think we have to give the other actor the chance to replace Ian.

I hope that fans give him a chance too, but this is quite a strange thing to have to deal with ... for sure.

I really liked Kane in the earlier seasons but I do think that the show kind of doesn’t know what to do with him anymore ... maybe, this will be a fresh (but weird) start for the character again?

Yes, I think it's a weird but also an interesting body snatching story for Kane
