I got that vibe too, I didn't really like him in the pilot, but I kind of do now, I want to see more scenes with him.

I got a feeling when Kane was shown the information on Bellamy and Octavia. We know nothing of Bellamy's father either. The father was purposely left out of the flashback scenes. I want this character to have a little bit more to deal with once he makes it to earth. Finding out you have a kid, that changes a person.

Wow I never even thought about that being the case but it would make for a great storyline. It makes sense that they would have different fathers since in the flashbacks there didn't seem to be a husband in the picture.

I loved Kane in the last episode. I have to say I never imagined he would turn out to be this caring person. In the first few episodes it felt like they set him up as a villain but I'm sure they realized that Henry would play all the layers of Kane's character to make him a much more complex character.

His final scene with his father was amazing. I loved that he prayed for her. It seemed to me not only a final gift to her but also an realization that he too has that faith in him. And it's something he's going to rely on now that she's passed.

I am loving the different aspects we are seeing to Kane. He has come a long way from where he started from in the pilot. He isn't as harsh and cruel as he had once appeared.

I agree. I think they are doing a great job with his character.

It would be great if he is Octavia's father. I think it's obvious Bellamy and Octavia have different fathers because Bellamy's father wasn't around when Octavia was born.

Also Kane wanted to be in the first ship.

I really hope he is the father of Bellamy and Octavia (or just Bellamy). In my opinion, Bellamy and Kane look so much alike.

Also Bellamy and Kane have the same personality too.
