I'm not really feeling the NYE mood now, because of something horrible that happened to someone I knew
 ... so just a simple dinner with a friend, I think.Yup, Susan.  About a month to go to CNY.  And that sounds like a great Christmas.  Glad that you're able to spend time with family especially with your sister, since she stays so far away.Sounds nice, Marie! Game nights are always fun.  (haven't had one of those in a while, but I should  )Quiet nights in are more my speed these days too, Lisa. __________________

Thank you Marie and Sarah!
I had a nice time. The sister that was visiting is now on the plane back to California. I'm going to miss her, but hopefully I can visit her soon next time around.Btw Marie, playing games sounds fun! I want to go to a gathering that does that! Sarah, sorry to hear about what happened to the person you knew. Hope you managed to have a nice New Year's even though. My week has been good Sam. A bit of working and spending lots of time with family so it's been good. But soon enough is back to business next week.  How about you?__________________

I worked from home today, it was going great! Until a neighbour down the hall asked if they could leave their dog with me for two hours..it turned into three
 lolAnd he whined/cried for 2 of the hours. __________________
