Co-leaders in space. And hopefully on the ground too. If they end up being co-leaders for six years, I don't see that dynamic changing on the ground.

I definitely see Raven being his co-leader on the Ark. If not Raven, I'm guessing it would be Murphy. Emori and Echo won't know how things work around the Ark, Monty is probably specifically designated to get the algae farm up and running, and Harper... we don't have enough background on her to randomly make her a co-leader.

That scene at the end of the episode really kind of foreshadowed the plan to make the two of them a team on the Ark, kind of leading things - Raven's gonna be the one to get the whole ops running and also figuring out how to eventually get them back to Earth. Bellamy will probably take on day-to-day ops once things are running. Sure, the others will definitely be helping/leading in specific areas, but I think these two are going to be the ones to keep everyone together and focused.

If they stay co-leaders once they come back like you said, it will be interesting because then Raven will kind of see what a rough position Clarke was in six years earlier, and since they haven't been around Clarke in so long, the other five might defer to Raven (and Bellamy) as opposed to Clarke once they come back. Change in leadership dynamic. I've seen other people say similar things both here and on Tumblr. That Clarke would kind of take a backseat of leadership when everyone returns.

Agreed, it will not the same type of leadership that they'd have on the Ground since the decisions they had to make in space are on a different level entirely ... it will be interesting to see how their dynamic will evolve once they're back on the Ground again when they're once again thrown into many high stakes situations. And also how Clarke will factor into that equation after being away for so long.

I agree, Amelia. I think that this will completely shake up the roles that each of them had, before the time jump. At this point in the show, few seasons in, I think that seems like a good thing to delve into and it'll be interesting to see how Raven fares in the role that Clarke had previously and how similar/different the co-leadership dynamic would be between Bellamy/Raven and Clarke/Bellamy. She has a glimpse into that in early season 4 but this will be an entirely different ballgame and hopefully, Raven is able to understand a bit more about the burden of leadership from Clarke's perspective ... and of course, Bellamy supporting her through that process.
