If it wasn't already apparent that Lexa was Clarke's one great love, The 100 finale made sure that everyone knew. The only reason Clarke was able to see Lexa was because of that love.

Also the whole "y'know, that wasn't really Lexa" argument is kinds pointless around these parts. Yeah WE KNOW. This celebration is not about THAT. This is about what "we" as a fan base knew or didn't. It is about the metaphorical "if you like it then you better put a ring on it -ness" of it all. It is about the show itself saying it LOUD and CLEAR: CLEXA IS ETERNAL, THEY ARE SOULMATES, LEXA IS CLARKE'S GREATEST LOVE. End of story

And besides as JR said and as we clearly saw - part of the real Lexa shine through.

still can't believe they threw away the love story of the girl who fell from the stars and the girl who ruled the world, just to further a different story that nobody truly cared about.

And I can't believe they revived the story 4 years later because they realised it was literally the only good thing about the show.

Imagine if they had just, like, not killed her in the first place? Picked a different way to give her a semi-permanent but long term absence?

Absolutely this. Nobody will EVER know what we went through, between the actual baiting, the calling of fans to the set, the posting on lesbian boards to reassure us, the "you wont want to miss this live" comments.....to the aftermath, the ridiculing, the cheering, the everything we went through for FOUR years. To finally know that we were right all along. That it will always be Lexa for Clarke. Even 100's of years later. It's Lexa. The last person Clarke ever truly loved.

On top of Lexa even coming back. The fact that Lexa, who is just a "guest star" was the LAST scripted speaker of this show is just beyond amazing. And the fact that once again she stole the show just goes to show how powerful she really is/was.

Well JR is a nut tbh. But at least he somewhat came to his senses in the end.
