I really hope there's scenes in real time of her just talking about lexa to madi, but I would take flashbacks too.. I'm not fussed on how I would just like it to be a substantial moment, something like her scene with Abby in 4x01...

we didn't really get to see Clarke properly grieve because of all the end of the world stuff at the end of season 4, so for her to mention lexa would be a nice moment

I was so confused by her first appearance

I didn't understand why the grounders had this random girl babysitting Kane and Jaha. But the reveal that she was actually the commander was pretty cool

Especially since Lexa was a natblida, and Madi has that also, it would make sense to talk to Madi about grounder culture.

Clarke would definitely have to tell her about Lexa and about all the nightbloods and what it means/meant to be a nightblood, etc. It's part of Madi's direct heritage and history.

Yeah, when Clarke found her she probably didn't know anything about where she came from, her culture, what it meant to be a nightblood, etc.

I think she'll definitely mention Lexa again, they mentioned her quite a few times in season 4 too.

It's honestly one thing that annoys me about the show, that we barely ever see them grieve. I mean I get that there is not much time, esp. last season with the end of the world just a few months away but still, would have been great if they focused more on how losing loved ones affects them and not just a few characters bc of their sl, e.g. Jasper.

Same.

I get that it's a fast-paced show, especially last season with Praimfaya looming over them, but I wish that they could show the more human side of the characters better and let them grieve over those that they've lost.

I agree with the grieving part, I mean what they showed in season 4 was ..... well I didn't like it, and of course I didn't expect her to be sobbing through the whole season but still it could have been so much better.
And not just Lexa and Clarke, they didn't show proper grieve for Finn he was main characted after all

I really liked him.
And Wells or Gina, the only one that was strongly shown was Lincoln's death and it was just because Octavia was blaming Bellamy for it.
