Murpgy telling her not to cover her hand up because it looked badass showed how much he's grown. I'd imagine in S1 he'd throw it in her face when he was feeling insecure.

I love that line so much ... undoubtedly she was humiliated over and over again due to her hand but it is part of her and she’s not ashamed of that.
