I'm going to have to put my thoughts together tomorrow for a proper review but suffice to say that was hands down my favorite episode of the season. :thud:

I am liking this show. Love the characters.

1X07 and 1X08 are the best episodes so far.

This episode was EPIC! I still need to process but I'll probably be doing a review later.

Great episode. I had high expectations and the episode turned out to be better than I expected.

It was really funny to see everyone high and acting weird. I love how Jasper didn't let go of the stick Octavia gave him and in one scene you can see him sleeping with it :lol: It was nice to get these type of scenes because some of the other scenes were very dramatic. Also I loved seeing Monty.

This episode had great character development for both Clarke and Bellamy. Also I wish more couples were written like them. Nothing romantic happened but you could see them growing closer and starting to trust each other.
I LOVED that Bellamy wanted Clarke to be the leader when he left. It shows how much he respects her and trusts her. Also he let her in and showed her who the real Bellamy is.

Also Bob Morley did a great job showing Bellamy's internal conflict.

I feel bad for Raven. She can come across as desperate but Finn is the only person she has so I can understand why she can't let go of him. But I can't understand Finn's attitude. I get that he is no longer in love with her but he should tell her the truth. Also I don't like that he acts like she means nothing to him. They were friends first and they have known each other for years so he should at least care about her as a friend.
I hope Clarke doesn't listen to Finn and keeps trusting Bellamy. Finn should take a hint and realize why Clarke doesn't fully trust him. He lied to her and he is still lying to Raven.

I really loved this episode. I agree with an above poster on the lighter and funnier scenes, like Jasper and Monty, were really appreciated in the midst of such drama! There are a lot of dark situations on this show, so it was nice to have the funny stuff. My fave was Monty walking in to Finn and Raven’s tent. Both those boys are adorable.

The Octavia and Lincoln kiss made my night. I was shipping her with Jasper for a minute (even though I apparently had no idea they kissed because I fell asleep during that episode and my husband didn’t bother telling me that part when he caught me up wtf) but I’m all about that forbidden love and he’s so amazingly sexy I just can’t not ship it. I really do like her as a character and I loved that scene with her and Bellamy at the end. I love how much her brother loves her and I think she has a lot to get over and I think their development is going to be rocky but sweet. I’m just crossing my fingers for Lincoln’s survival now, which I’m pretty sure something bad might happen there because such is my life, but w/e I’ll just enjoy it while I can.

I’m really loving Bellamy’s character development. It wasn’t too long ago that I was wishing someone would kill him off (no joke, this was my first live episode, I just caught up on hulu) and now I’m feeling sorry for him! The past few episodes have been really good for his growth and getting to know him better and this was no exception. Plus that scene with him and Clarke and the guns…. The part where he pulled away. I SENSED SOME FEELINGS! And that whole Jaha hallucination. I wanted to jump in and give him a hug or throw some rainbows and unicorns to lighten his demons up.

That was actually one of the best aspects of the whole episode – getting high can really bring out what’s inside, especially insecurities. Bellamy felt guilt, Clarke knew deep down she needed to forgive her Mother and obviously it’s something she is battling internally, Monty is battling his super smart brain, and Jasper is still very traumatized from his grounder experience and the I love you to Octavia – so sweet.

The Finn and Raven situation is sticky. He loves Raven obviously, but he apparently moved on more than she did when he hit earth. I can’t blame him because he never thought he’d see her again and I can understand not wanting to let her down, especially after all she went through to get to him. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind though, so I’m just going to praise the fact that I’m not in his shoes.

I really hope this week flies by because I want it to be Wednesday again tomorrow.

Bellamy is such a dad with Octavia. :thud: It's cute to see! Also seeing his hallucination and guilt w/ Jaha eating at him was really sad but cool too. He's such a great character with so much depth. And I loved the Bellamy/Octavia scene at the end. :love:


monty/jasper are hilarious.

"I'm pretty sure I ate a pinecone. Because it told me to."


This episode was a shippers dream for bellarke. :lol: Seeing her ask for his help and them working together was great.

"Ready to be a badass Clarke?"

Then the shoulder touching and Bellamy realizing he was too close (later finding out it was the berries). :lol: Him wanting her to practice. :thud: And then of course at the end when she tried to save him and then he saved her. <3. Then him sitting by her at the tree, the knee touch, and then of course him opening up to her and her convincing him to stay.

"You saved my life today. And you may be a total ass half the time but... I need you. We all need you."

Then then strolling back into camp like bad asses. :love: And how she encouraged him to talk to Jaha.


Lincoln saying he wanted Octavia to remember him after he died... UGH. So sad. But the kiss! The Kiss! What a freaking cute kiss. Yes, they are slightly rushed but their chemistry is so good, it works. And the fact that he's a grounder makes it that much more interesting.


Raven is such a strong girl, its kind of frustrating that she just forgave Finn like that and wanted things to go back to normal? Ugh. And seeing them kissing was skeevey considering he was just sleeping with Clarke not long ago.


I totally didnt remember this episode but I loved it! <3
