Oh, such a good point, Jane.
 He was still in that phase where he didn't want to show weakness (which is why he said that, IMO) but he truly became that person for Raven, once they got to know each other better.  I'll look for more Braven sets/drawings too.  __________________

Yep, I agree Sarah. I think in the beginning his concern was solely for his sister and himself but with time he grew to care about others including Raven.

Absolutely, well said.
His family used to be solely Octavia but now it’s expanded so much and one of the core people to him is definitely Raven. I loved how she knew that he wouldn’t let her stay on the ship on her own so she made up the story about being able to go down soon after (when she knew that she couldn’t  ) because Bellamy would never allow her to do that.__________________

I would have been beyond disappointed if I was watching that and then we got what we got..b/c this scene to me is like a promise of things to come with the two of them. I would have expected at least more friendship scenes. The show probably won't go here again (I hope I'm wrong) but the least they can give us is some meaningful scenes with Bellamy and Raven.

I agree, Jane. I would have been less disappointed about the lack of BR moments if it wasn't for that promising end scene ... where it seemed to allude to a strong partnership in space (which may have been the case, just that we never got to see any of it).

I really hope so.
That is just fantastic development honestly ... they couldn't really stand each other at the start and in season 4, Bellamy volunteered to get her in a heartbeat.__________________

I just love when relationships are built over time like that. This show is really good at development..it's got some great writers.

 So this fic just killed me right now.. caught up in your love affair She doesn’t actually notice it’s becoming a ‘thing’ like the next time she looks up and her gaze automatically lands on his hands. Again. Like they’ve started exerting a goddamned gravitational pull on their own since they slept together. And when he turns, and catches her, again, there’s this one moment when she thinks of looking away, but the moment passes and she still hasn’t looked away, so. “What?” His face on the expression spectrum falls beyond neutrality. Unreadable, almost. She’s kind of impressed. This is usually her sandpit. “Nothing.” When she does look back down, he doesn’t resume hammering, which means he’s either still staring, or, well, that he’s not still staring. That scenario reads a probability of one, and she likes certainty. Uncertainty is floating through space in an unequipped metal box, and look where that landed her. “You do that a lot,” he observes, “have you noticed.” It’s not a question, so she just flips him off, and that’s when it— oh. __________________
