Yeah and like, it seems to be engrained in his soul tbh. It's how he grew up, I don't think he can never not be protecting SOMETHING. So it would be really nice to see this with Madi

Same, it's second nature and instinctual to him by now.

Bob did say that he saw Clarke/Madi as more of a sisterly relationship rather than a mother/daughter relationship. I feel like that makes more sense actually.

I think it'll be a little like early days Bellamy/Octavia, where she's not Madi's Mom but she is very parental because she has to be.

Yeah I guess given the age difference a sister thing would make slightly more sense

Although Jason alluded to her being a mama figure for Madi so I'm interested to see what if feels like on-screen.

Oh yes, she mentioned at ConaGeddon too that she worries about Lola working so hard because she remembers how difficult it is to juggle school and act at that age too.

I hope people love Madi. The teacher in me is super excited to see all the Madi scenes! And the amount of love/deep care we see between Clarke and Madi.
