That is true. I'm such a bad spender too, like you wouldn't believe. Things are so expensive these days, too.

I'm pretty sure it's from 2x09 after Finn died and she was trying desperately to wash off his blood from her hands ... literally. I disliked that dude so much but still, seeing her like that was heartbreaking.

Yes I think you're right, that sounds correct. She was so good in season 2, like seriously. She had to go through a lot of emotions and did so, so well.

I think that the cast is probably enjoying their time off but after a little while will be glad to get back to work and have everyone back together again.

And that gif of Clarke crying on the last page make me sad b/c I feel like it's been way too long since we've seen Clarke smile or seen her happy. Eliza is so great at the emotional scenes but I want Clarke to have way more happy moments next season.

IKR? I felt that the acting in general was subpar in the first two or so episodes, and I found Clarke kind of obnoxious in the beginning. But Eliza really ramped things up towards end of season 1 and killed IT all of Season 2 ... and made Clarke such a compelling person to root for.

NP. And agreed, as much as I think Eliza has been fantastic during the emotional scenes, I just hope she finds a sliver of happiness in the next season. The events of the last few months (in show time) was so painful and hard for her.

We were actually talking about that in the general discussion thread during our rewatch, she's really hard to like for the first several episodes. But she grew on me by leaps and bounds, especially in season 2. And that's because of Eliza and good writing.

Yeah that's true. And I think that could be part of the reason why some people tuned out at the start which is a damn shame. (Someone actually did tell me before that was the reason) She really grew on me after that initial bad impression of this obnoxious know-it-all.

I know, I feel that way too. It also sucks IMO that the first three or four episodes aren't THAT great, because I know for sure people dropped off. Plus the characters weren't all that likable at first. I almost quit, myself!

It took me a few episodes to warm up to her. But second season Eliza definitely brought it. And she gave Clarke something g extra. I think it was how she came into her own as a leader.

As I've already mentioned on the General Discussion thread, my brother didn't care too much for Clarke in season one. He thinks she's a bit of an idiot, though not as bad as Octavia. Though I like Clarke I definitely understood where he was coming from. I've had to give many reassurances that Clarke is better in season two. Though now I almost wonder if he'll agree. I have a feeling he still may find something to complain about just to be contrary. Oh well. I still like Clarke. Despite some and also because of her flaws.

I like Clarke too I think she is a strong and brave character and a born leader, she has made mistakes but everyone does its how she deals with it after in S3 now that I am looking forward too.

Word. I love morally grey characters like that, the fact that they screw up but ultimately mean well and are brave enough to make hard decisions sometimes for the greater good ... it makes for a compelling character who you can ultimately root for.
