I agree with that, April. I think that she improved the most especially season 6 ... when she got to really delve into Josephine’s role and show how diverse she is. But even in season 1, she improved so much over the course of the season and truly became amazing to watch.

Same, and I don’t even think that it was her acting skills ... probably moreso getting used to the new role and settling into it properly and she thrived once she did.

Yeah, even by the end of just season 1, she had already shown so much growth. But I agree that season 6 was when she really got to shine.

Absolutely. It was her first real chance at doing something different with Clarke. And everyone says playing the villain is very fun.

True, I think that most actors find it so exciting to play a villian. Also, since most of them are good in real life, it's just fun to play someone who isn't that.
