I think it was her reacting to the season 3 trailer, Sarah.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a show that excelled in having characters and their emotions drive the story. I feel like that should be the blueprint for so many other shows these days.

It seems like alot of characters on this show are really uneven in terms of grief shown vs the person they're grieving. I also get that they can't (especially on this show) just have people sitting around crying every five seconds, that would be a dud to watch. And I guess they thought they were showing Clarke grieving Abby when she was hugging Bellamy in the S6 finale, or something. Ugh I don't know, for a show that likes to explore death ALOT they struggle with showing realistic portrayals of grieving. Sometimes.

Kate you should watch Buffy if you can, it's long and super entertaining and sometimes stupid but often awesome. Eliza would make a cute Buffy tbh.

Ugh, yes. I get that they can’t be sitting around, crying all day but just giving them five seconds of grieving also doesn’t make sense. Clarke didn’t even have much time to process her mother’s death, IMO. This was not some random character, this was Clarke’s mother and I feel the same way about Jasper’s death re the other characters reacting to it (apart from Monty). Also, Monty and Harper’s deaths too ... even if they died of old age.
