Someone needs to explain to them what leads mean. The 100 does ensemble casts pretty well and still so much complaining

I think the show balances out the amount of scenes pretty well in general ... though we did have that one Clarke-less episode in season 3 (can’t remember which one right now though) but I wasn’t really happy with her then, so that was fine.

And then, she rightfully got the focus in episode 7 this season so it all just fits in nicely based on the storyline, IMO.

Yep, that was 3x08 that Clarke wasn’t in (nor Octavia, after Bellamy had been absent for 3x07). And if I recall, those were the first episodes any of them missed. (Though Clarke was barely in 3x10, either.) Tbh, I’m like you and needed a bit of a Clarke break at that point.

I guess I can understand not liking Clarke and still watching the show, because I watched Lost and hated the main character of Jack Shepherd. But I have a friend/coworker who literally dislikes both Clarke and Bellamy. I feel like that would be hard.

Maybe she watches primarily for Octavia these days. Idk. But I know she used to really like Jasper.

Clarke is an (anti) hero.

April, I get that but I personally couldn't watch a show where I severely disliked the lead. I'd probably just YT the scenes for the characters that I do like and that's it.

But yeah, disliking a few core characters makes it even harder.

So happy to have Clarke full-time back.

I think Lost is the only show I’ve watched where I disliked the lead. But that show had such a huge cast of characters, and different characters would often step into the “lead” role each week since they did focal episodes.

Also imagine her holding it together when she saw Madi, damn she's strong. And her pretending to be Josephine in front of Murphy was also pretty solid.

I loved Clarke in this episode. It reminded me of Season 3, when she learned to care not just about saving her own people (as in Mount Weather) but about humanity more broadly. I was disappointed when S4 seemed to backtrack on that character development and have her just caring about the Arkers (stealing the bunker) and even more when S5 narrowed “her people” down to just Madi.

So awesome to see her back to being the one to see the big picture and try to find a better way.

And Eliza slayed the acting once again. Loved her playing Clarke playing Josephine. I don’t know if she was quite in Tatiana Maslany territory, but she was REALLY good.

I haven’t seen her in this episode yet but Eliza has been killing it especially this season, so not surprising one bit.

Very glad/happy to hear that she had another great episode.

I’m so nervous for Clarke. Not sure how long she can keep the charade up.

Eliza’s just continuing to slay, though! So cool how she’s now playing her character playing the part of another character.

It’s insane how much she has to switch back and forth between Clarke and Josephine this season

but Eliza is doing so good.
