I’m so happy!

I think tonight might have been Eliza’s most impressive portrayal of Josephine, tbh. She showed a vulnerability to her as she lay on her death bed there, and a softness when it came to Gabriel. No longer snarky, she finally allowed herself to be human, and Eliza nailed it. I still hated Josephine and couldn’t wait for Clarke to come back, though, and when she did . . . oh my god.

I've only seen gifs but I'm just blown away, I thought she already did her best acting work but wow, being able to portray a softer side of Josephine and still not let it blend with Clarke.

Even as she portrayed a softer side of Josephine, it was still obviously her and not Clarke. So good. I'm impressed. So glad she got the opportunity to showcase her incredible acting skills to us.

Eliza slayed it yet again. Queen. I love how calm and smart she is, she must be scared too (naturally) but she pushed it aside and got what she needed to get done. And though Bellamy's words got through to her, she did ultimately save herself (with his help). Love that for her, and she is a fighter through and through.

Not to get too Bellarkey in here, but she fought in her head, and he restarted her heart. So I thought it was great.

And yes, her lying there dying . . . you know, people think that would be easy to portray, but I think a character on their deathbed would be one of the hardest things, especially a character like Josephine.

Not sure if I'm more impressed by Clarke as a character or Eliza as an actor! Amazing episode for both.

Definitely both. I’m so glad that Eliza got to do this storyline this season, absolutely brilliant.

Yeah, you can tell how much fun she had with it, and it’s been the best storyline of the season by far.

Absolutely, and I loved having the glimpse into her mindspace. I also loved the part where she sort of connects with Josephine a bit, by telling her that she ain’t perfect either by the way her mindspace is laid out and what is depicted on the walls.

I really loved their bonding scenes, just showing that softer side of both of them. They've had to be badass and hard all their lives so it's just so nice to see.
