Hopefully for a few weeks at least, it's expensive to travel from Australia so might as well make their time of it lol. Although Eliza's brother is in the U.S. right now so maybe they'll see him, too. I'm sure Eliza wil show them all around.

Yup, true. It's an extremely long trip for them so hope that they can stay for a bit. Maybe, they'll stay until Christmas.

Is he based in the US now, then? At least, she has her brother around when she's back in the country after filming ends.

I think her brother is staying with some friends and working and traveling sort of. I'm sure she'll probably see him at points during hiatus, and maybe he'll go to Thailand again with her.

5x01 was such a great character episode. I wish it could have lasted a bit longer to get a bit more insight into her psyche, I feel like the fandom might have sympathized more if it was expanded.

5X01 was SO good. I usually feel like these character-centric episodes get a bit boring towards the end but that was not the case for the episode. It really gave us a chance to explore Clarke's mindset when she was alone/feeling isolated. Though Amelia, I do agree ... it should have lasted longer, especially in the back half of the season, for viewers to be able to fully appreciate her state of mind and how that influenced her behaviour.

We definitely needed more reference and more of her 5X01 type of pov in the back half. Would have made her actions more understandable to some.

Yeah, honestly they spent so much time on plots that didn't go anywhere ... instead, they should have done that.

Exactly, I would have thought that it’s not rocket science but her POV is clearly essential in the show since she’s the protagonist and all.

I feel like they spent time focusing on other things and not enough on giving her a full story on her own - which would have maybe been ok if it made any sense, but they started the season off SOLELY about her (pretty much) and then kind of dropped the ball.

5x01 was amazing IMO.
