I’ve always interpreted it as still being a moment of immense stress, though. But like, she’s trying to calm and steady herself in the midst of that stress as much as she can.

Great gifset, Kate! Wow, if we wanted a more lyrical/poetic type of title for a thread, that would definitely make a good one.

The “I got this” line makes me giggle now because one of the characters in JTV said it just before making a catastrophic error

and then the Narrator of the show (who is hilarious) said “No, she does not ‘got this.’ ”

So it applles here as well.
