I love when her eyes stand out. She has beautiful eyes. And even though she was down on the floor in pain, she looked so beautiful when she was looking up at Bellamy.

I love Clarke. I don't agree with everything she does, but I can understand her reasons behind it. Ever since watching The 100, I have come to realise that anyone is capable of anything when the lives of their loved ones become threatened.

Yup, and Clarke/Madi are currently outnumbered by the Eligius people ... at least, until the bunker people manage to get out. So, she definitely felt vulnerable and after that, they tried to hurt Madi ... so all bets were off then.

Eliza did so well in that last scene, you could feel how emotional she was in that moment.

Also, I saw someone mentioning on Twitter that the "Which time?" scene with Clarke/Diyoza could have made the trailer more intense. SO agree with that, the trailer really didn't do much justice to the season so far.

I do too.

I just feel protective over Clarke because I know that she's not perfect, but she tries. She tries so damn hard all the time and sometimes, that doesn't result in the best/most rational outcome but her heart is in the right place.

The characters on this show all have some less than stellar qualities and that's why I love them. Clarke's heart is huge and she tries her best, it's true

She's far from being a Mary Sue, so thankful for that. She wouldn't be one of my favourite TV leads (male or female) otherwise.

Agreed

I love that she's not perfect all the time and that she still makes lots of mistakes. I think part of what makes the show so great is that it allows its characters, including Clarke, to make really big mistakes and doesn't shy away from the consequences. There are some things Clarke has done that I really don't agree with, but that's part of what keeps me so invested

Well said, Marie. There's a reason why we still feel invested in her story ... I know that we don't see her verbally acknowledging her flaws as much as we'd like to (maybe?) ... but we can tell that she feels it nonetheless ... and that's what makes her a compelling character. And one which we are still invested in, despite everything that she's done.

Exactly! She makes mistakes, knows that she does, does feel bad about her actions, and does have to face consequences for said actions. Not every tv character, male or female, does that.
