I know this is an appreciation thread and I did like them together a lot, but my answer is no, most likely not. I'm going to be heartless and say their connection was something situational and had the end of the world not happened and of course him not being dead and all, they would have split up I think.
But hey you never know, stranger pairings have worked out  __________________

I tend to agree, Kate.
I feel like it was mainly situational as well, and was good for them both while it lasted (because they both needed that comfort at that stage).__________________
