Bellamy truly cares for Clarke and knows perfectly (unlike Lexa) this is not the right moment to approach her romantically. I don't think he dares to initiate anything till he gets some kind or reassurance that she will respond positively. I mean he's not gonna risk the deep bonding they have with a wrong step... That's the difference between Clexa and Bellarke. Real love is patient.

But do anyone of us really know what we want? I sure don't. I know that if they ever do get together I will be over the moon and giddy as a kid with a shiny new toy. But at the same I'm finding the idea of a traditional romance for these two just too simple. More and more I'm becoming smitten with the idea of courtly love - the princess and her knight - which means that consumation leads to DEATH. Mwahaha!

Bellamy and Clarke are a pairing like none other I've seen. Their relationship is unique and nigh on impossible to define. That gives the writers an opportunity to explore something very different and complex. So as giddy as I may be over a romance there will also be a part of me thinking, "Really Show? Took the easy way. Pfft." I'd like to see the two continue on the road less traveled.

Well my very first pairing fit into the princess & knight trope, and I do like that trope.

However, I felt like in S1 they were more King & princess/Queen (even Murphy called them it), both equals leading in the 100. Then S2 happened, and he was compared to being a knight. There is a big difference between king to knight. But I'm hoping once Clarke come back we have that equal status again.

In terms of leadership and his connection to Clarke I suppose I'd prefer Bellamy as a king rather than knight. But whether Bellamy is a knight or a king matters not in terms of the trope, or at least the application of the trope as I'm looking at it. If courtly love is done right the two transcend the physicality and attain a higher, exalted, ennobling love. I'm not suggesting that such qualities can't exist in a traditional romantic relationship, because they can. But the focus shifts. And I'm curious to see where the writers could take Bellarke if they take the physical stuff out of the equation.

I think I would like Bellamy to kiss Clarke... but then I also think I'd like to see Clarke go for it first, too. I really have no preference. As long as it happens at some point.

Same, I'd much rather the idea of BC being the king and queen because of course they are but at the end of it, it's just a title. More importantly is where TPTB could go with these two, I'm so excited to see that play out because I feel like a relationship like theirs come along very rarely and with such depth and emotion and balanced dynamic between the characters.
