I was on tumblr and saw that Shawna Benson who run the writers tumblr answered a fan question. I thought some of you would like to read it.

Just like Jason, she is implying that Bellamy will understand Clarke's choice. In your face haters!

I'm really, really confused by Shawna's post. I thought JR's big argument was that The 100 is not about ships. Yet, she makes it sound like JR's promotes/sails the Clexa ship simply because it is a same sex ship.

He's an important friend, but I don't think Bellamy is the center of her emotional universe. That's all. I wish people would actually understand what I'm saying for once instead of just immediately getting defensive and argumentative with me just because I'm not on the same level of romanticizing Bellarke.

I'm catching what you're throwing Fuzzy, or at least usually. I'm far from athletic or coordinated so I do miss from time to time. But I also have a lifetime's experience of running after the things I miss to pick it up. You'd think I'd be in better shape.

Oh and still love that gif. I want that as a screensaver.

That's enough. This happens in almost every thread. The calling people out. It's unnecessary. Leave it up to the Mods to take care of. If you feel like you need to contact one of us, do it through PM. DO NOT voice it on the thread. This leads to unnecessary drama. The insinuations need to stop. This is suppose to be a friendly place. Not everyone has to agree with each other, but a certain level of respect and civility is needed. It's feels very hostile at times coming into this thread. That's not very welcoming to new posters. If it continues, my Co-Mod and myself will have to take it up with a Mod Manager.

Thanks Josie - this is ridiculous. There is absolutely no need for the eye rolling or to be harsh to someone or swear because you don't agree with them. And just because you don't agree with someone, doesn't mean they are wrong....

And if I can say just one more thing - we are all in this thread because we are interested in, and like/love THE POSSIBILITY of Bellarke. They are not canon, so if someone is saying something you feel is negative towards Bellarke (which I haven't even seen yet, I've simply seen discussions over negative things that have played out on screen), then there is no need to attack them. Everyone should be able to voice their opinions on the topic in a friendly manner!

"Same old story". I concur Maud&Danny.

Even at war times love happens, what's life without love? You can't be fighting 24 h. per day but that is what this season is all about... war, violence, survival, brutality except one Octavia&Lincoln making out scene and Jasper&Maya kiss ...

She wrote about a couple of another show who didn't kiss till ep. 44. Does it mean we'll get season 4 and 5?

Well, if they make it to season 4, I hope war is over... for a while? a truce? My sarcastic side ..

I love this thread because remember how we mentioned the cycles? Lol we go through our happy Bellarke phase, then we go into the danger zone and someone gets sassy and then oop we have to be happy again

I read all of Shawna's replies but I liked how she said to look at the movie Speed and notice that the ship in the movie never made it to the sequel. I was like? It's more like Keanu didn't want to act in the sequel lol. I guess she was trying to compare Clarke and Finn's situation that relationships based on intense experiences never work but rather Bellarke have a strong foundation for a romantic relationship idk. Also, comparing the Olicity kiss on a show that has a full season with high ratings compared to a cable format show with low ratings she has got to know why fans want to see a move on. For a lot of story to tell and alot of character arc to develop they need not only more seasons but more episodes which at this stage looks dim.
