Hello there. I have not posted fanforum for ages and Clarke Bellamy ship plus The 100 brought me back LOL.
Did I mention I love both together ? They are like a well oiled machine working together , taking right decisions and there is a sense of completion , they are completing each other. Now some might mention both Eliza and Bob are from same acting culture (Australian) so that might explain their chemistry together. But I think there is so much more. It is writing of characters : First of all they literally started their relationship from nothing. No not even from a zero point but from a point of negativity. Neither Clarke nor Belamy liked each other. We as audience witnessed development of their characters together from semi antagonists to co leaders and friends (and I hope even more) Most of the good writing a literature involves good character development stories. And I think in parallel way but also interacting with each other both Clarke and Bellamy matured up while most of the CW audience stayed in teenage romance mode. (Hurry UP get together etc) Actually I am glad they are not hurring up in developing their relationship to full romance especially under these circumstances. They are in a war , in a crisis but with small gestures they reveal how they feel about each other. I will be very disappointed if this does not turn into a romance but we should have faith to writers... |

Pegasus21 - agree with you completely. I think that's why they are such a popular ship - they weren't friendly starting out like Finn and Clarke were, they started from an almost volatile place and then through mutual respect it completely changed and now they care for eachother
 It's such a great relationship and I'm never a huge shipper of TV characters but their relationship is really something special IMO.__________________
