God I'm so heartbroken already

I was saying this in the spoilers thread but I think because of everything that is happening on the show, I think it would have been more intriguing to see Octavia and Bellamy become even stronger and even closer together. I think that would have been the stronger storyline. Pitting them on opposite sides has been done and I really wish Jason and Co. hadnt chosen to go down this route. As the only siblings on the show, it's tragic because it will forever change their relationship. To see them working together would have been amazing and I am just not looking forward to this

Same here ... I'm disappointed that there'll be an inevitable rift between them because after all the turbulence they went through together in S1, I loved seeing their bond grow in S2 and the thought of them regressing back to the previous dynamics doesn't thrill me at all. And I wish that we could have seen Octavia trying to get through to Bellamy, because if there's anyone who could, it's her or Clarke. And like you said, pitting them against each other? Been there, done that. So I wish Jason and co. could have went down a different route with them.

I agree. I don't think that conflict necessarily makes for better tv like Jason & Co seem to but I'm hopeful at the end of the day that this story that they're telling with Bellamy/Octavia will ultimately be a good one.
