I love when there is an episode that is a clear Bellamy MVP episode, as this one was for me. Not because he was able to accomplish anything, really, but because he grieved, and we, as the audience, are feeling what he feels. His perspective is our perspective, too. (Well, except for viewers who hate Clarke, I guess.)

^Agreed, completely. To me it was clear that in all of Bellamy's scenes we were following him and his choices, and we were "supposed to" agree with those. He's grieving and we're grieving while a lot of the others weren't or didn't make time to. For Bellamy, to me, pushing his feelings down wasn't an option. Like he definitely tried at certain points but he literally had tears in his eyes the entire episode, and honestly, this is what I wanted.

A lot of the time grieving on this show is done in a very selective way imo where there are moments where you can see the characters struggling and others where they're just focused on moving the story along. And while that as well is a realistic way of showing grief, it's not something that everyone can do or is healthy for everyone. Like Bellamy taking that moment for himself after telling Madi? Beautiful.
Grieving is an incredibly personal process and I'm grateful to have seen more of Bellamy's way of dealing with this. Bob did such an amazing job and I love seeing him praised for this episode, he definitely deserves it. I mean, imo he deserves it every episode but yeah.

It could also be that sometimes the grieving we've seen, there have been time periods between them and this is literally the same/following day but even then, we've seen that as well.

Giving him an entire episode to cry about this was such a smart choice. I feel so bad for him, because going forward . . . god, he’s got these people looking to him as their one leader now, he probably feels a strong obligation to take care of Madi, he’ll still be grieving and missing his person . . . My god. That’s a lot.

The shot of him just crying alone outside was my favorite moment of the entire season so far.

Yes, Sachin, yes.

That scene broke me.... I mean, I haven't seen it yet and still it's haunting me.

I still can’t get over him looking upward, as if to Heaven.

Bellamy crying always get me. Bob did such a good job in conveying Bellamy's heartbreak in this episode.

Bob has had to so much on this show, probably more than anyone else. And he’s so good at it every single time.

If you guys were Bellamy, what would you do now? I have no idea what I would do. My mind would just be spinning.

He's totally hatching a plan. I'm guessing that it'll involve Madi since she's hell bent on revenge right now, too. But he clearly doesn't trust Murphy (and possibly the others) with any information right now, so he's playing nice until he's ready to **** it all up.

I have no idea what the plan could even be, though. I think he's just grieving right now. Which he should.

Like . . . what does one do now? How do you fight this? You're outnumbered, killing everyone and getting revenge sounds nice in theory but isn't practical . . . so what do you do? What does he do?

I don’t know, either. Maybe try to work with Russell, despite nearly just strangling him, or this Ryker guy? I don’t know.

At this point, we could have a Bellamy Strangling People Survivor.
