What did you guys think when the entire third season ended on this shot of him? I was underwhelmed by that finale in general, but I liked that it ended on him. Pretty much figured it was setting up Octavia’s descent into darkness and his powerlessness to stop it. |

 April, I thought that it was fitting ... the journey that Bellamy had in the season was certainly a turbulent one and him being all bloody and beat up but slowly healing; it was symbolic in a way. __________________

I think that season’s ending just felt different than the others, too, because rather than leaving it on a plot cliffhanger (i.e. Mount Weather reveal, ALIE reveal), we left it on the emotional cliffhanger of Octavia, Bellamy, etc.

I think one could make an argument that he'd win an award for character most beaten up
Seems like he spends 3-4 episodes every season with a bloody/messed up face.__________________

I know that Sonja. But the fake blood, etc. does hide him sometimes. And maybe he was just more tan in that picture.
