Oh, yeah, a sense of humor is of the utmost importance. I think a lot of people would consider it their number one quality in a person? So when you've got someone like Bob who is funny and who is also super hot (but really is this big nerd underneath) it's so damn attractive.

You beat me to it! I was just about to bring that over, but I got distracted leaving a long-ass comment at the bottom of the article.

I've been waiting for that article for article for a month now, so I was super stoked to see it! We'll have to pluck out all the potential future titles, of course. And next time I start a thread, I'll probably add some stuff from it to the quotes section. (Unless someone else wants to do it, in which case I hope my coding makes sense to you. )

So many good things in that article. I just love reading Bob praise. He's my favorite part of the whole show. As if that wasn't already completely obvious.

It was a good read, so everyone check it out. I'm off to check out his new customized board now!


ETA: Oh, also, I may have panicked in ecessarily about the TV Scoop poll. He built a good lead and it held, hence the need for no voting party today.

Positive recognition and praise for Bob is, like, one of my biggest priorities in life right now. Aside from meeting him, of course.

I love that that article took the time to praise all the little non-verbal things he does, though, too, as that's so often what we talk about. His face, his eyes . . . things like that just drive home exactly how Bellamy is feeling and why he's feeling that way, and it helps the audience feel the same.

Same April. His biggest gift/blessing in acting is his ability to show so much emotion without words. His face often times speaks volumes and can articulate more in a moment then most people can say in words. The article was spot on.

And part of what's so special about that ability of his is that . . . well, that's how people are in real life. So much of our communication with each other is non-verbal, far more than is actually verbal. (I can't remember the exact percentage of how much of communication is nonverbal, but I always found it to be staggering and astounding.) By conveying so much with his body language and his facial expressions, Bob just makes Bellamy seem even more real.

And totally agree about him being so talented at including those subtle things in his acting that really help create a great character. Some of my favorite acting moments from him this season are when he has the hood taken off of his head when Clarke meets the Azgeda army and when he holds Octavia as the Ark burns down. Both scenes where he has no dialogue but still manages to convey so much

Yes, those are both great moments, Marie!

I remember commenting that, as he's holding Octavia while the Ark is burning down, you can just tell that, as devastated as he is about what's happening around him, he's also more relived than he's ever been in his entire life. You can get that all just from Bob's face.
