Ooh, I love that scene, too. Though I was always a bit confused by Lincoln there. Did he just give in to the reaper juice stuff? I don't get it, for some reason, but yeah, I do love that panic in Bellamy's eyes as they put the blindfold over him. And the intake of breath. The guy is so brave.

Murphy calls him a coward in season one. I love Murphy, but add that to the list of people who said very WRONG things about him in season one.

Lincoln's arc was about drug addiction, it was meant to show that he was not strong enough to reject the drug, at least in that moment. He overcame his addiciton later.

I hope people didn't vote more than once. Follow the rules! But he and the runner-up both could have had fans who did that with their huge totals. Or maybe they just both got a lot of votes.

Okay, good, that's how I always interpreted that moment with Lincoln, but for some reason, I always just wondered if I was missing something.

For sure. I have yet to see anyone who's watched the show and say that they're indifferent towards him and that's because Bob has been delivering the goods from the very start.

THIS. When I think of Bellamy's best scenes in season 2, that sticks out in my mind immediately ... in addition to:

1. Bellamy saving Mel
2. "They're just kids." when he's in Mount Weather and he realises that a lot of innocent kids might die.

And like you said, that look of absolute fear/apprehension on his face ... it was brilliant. He wanted to be brave in that moment but it was clear that he was terrified of what might happen ... the way he sucked his breath in before he was blindfolded, so well done.

It was definitely meant to be an addiction story line, this is what Jason said:

“Lincoln’s dealing with some heavy stuff. He’s addicted to the red [drug] so much so that he just imperiled Bellamy,” Rothenberg said. “It’s something he’ll deal with for the foreseeable future.”

Oh goodness, I love those scenes you mentioned, too, Sarah. I really like all of Bellamy's scenes with Maya. I thought she was so brave (just like him), and so determined to never back down (again, just like him).
