It's usually minor in the ones I read too, Sharon. And typically the AU fics, not canon divergent ones.

I think part of the problem is, there's not a lot of interaction with them in canon to use in fanfics and a lot of time in AUs, she doesn't like him.

True.

But still, in the show, it's not as if Abby is shown to dislike him so it would make sense (to me) that canon/canon divergent fics would show them interacting sometimes. If not relating to Clarke, it could be related to whatever mission they were on since Abby's medical skills would obviously come in handy.

We definitely got slightly more scenes of them in seasons 2 and 4 though, so hopefully that'll continue.

Yes, there is never great love between them on the fic world. And it’s pretty mutual too. Bellamy thinks she’s a B and Abby doesn’t think he’s good enough for Clarke.
