Seriously, without Monty OR Raven, Skaikru (and now the world) would be super screwed. I can't even imagine them coming up with plans without either one of them.

I kind of like random extra crowd chick for the 3 seconds she was on screen. Riley insisting that he was more worthy of life than her automatically made me root for her to outlive everyone.

BUT, yes I agree that Monty not being on the list is pure insanity. When was the last time Jaha did any engineering? Plus, Monty is now part of the guard in addition to being an engineer. That was a weird plot thing and I'm not sure it was even necessary for the story.

If I was Clarke, and this probably is totally my mean side coming forward , I would've put the initial hundred plus Raven on the list first. How many are left? Is it 50? 70? They would be my priority and then the rest would be filled in with a few engineers, doctors, teachers, whatever to sustain life in space. The hierarchy used them as test subjects to see if the ground was safe to live. Say it wasn't, then they'd be dead. Lackeys of sorts. Screw that. I would play the same game with them now. But that's just me.

I had that thought too, and honestly I don't really think it's mean (or at least not any meaner than any other system of chosing 100 to survive the apocalypse .) The 100 proved themselves to be very resilient and capable, they survived on the ground with no adults, and, as per Clarke's concern, they're all young enough to reproduce. And I think there is some fairness in giving them the best shot at survival when they were initially the guinea pigs. And I think there are less than 50 left, so there would be room left for doctors, engineers, etc.

Regardless, Monty being left off the list seems a little unbelievable to me. He has been a huge part in all of the sky people's victories

Anyway, it's the little small things in life/ships for me.
I loved, loved, LOVED that little moment where Harper walks in and Monty tilts her chin, half kinda smiles and asks her how much she had to drink

Praise Monty and his brain. Even more proof that he should've been on the destroyed list. And how adorable was he with Harper? My low key ship. I did gasp out loud when Harper said that she'd see him if he came back. No bbs don't do that to me. Too much separation.

I'm not a Harpy fan but their scenes this episode were sort of cute. And MONTY GREEN FOR CHANCELLOR. Bae coming through YET AGAIN and being his smart old self. That scene was so cool BTW, I love it when he put the coin in the fire and BOOM, triangle key comes out.
